Most beautiful flying machine ever built. To me, A380, boasting of its size, stands nowhere near 747 series! And here we have 747-8 to rock the skies!!

You mean the Indian Air Force? Quote:
I guess ur talking about the IAF IL-76. They are neither the largest aircraft in the world, nor can carry anything close to what a 747-8 can carry. A 747-8 for example can carry a total payload of 140,000 kg (140 tonnes) whereas an IL76 can only carry 40 tonnes. As for carrying trucks, check this photograph out ![]() ![]() Copyright ![]() Copyright This is a freighter variant of an Airbus A300, known as Beluga, and its carrying the fuselage of a Boeing 737 (common Jet aircraft) As far as I know, the aircraft which is the largest AND can carry the max amount of payload is an Antonov 225, with a payload capacity of 250 tonnes +1 Amit
