Hi,
I am interested to go leh city in Feb'08 with my friends by Air.
I have listen that if we book our flight tickets before two months we get heavy discount on the tickets.
Please explore it what's the fair of DELHI-LEH Flight ?

I think its gonna be around.... 12000 for return journey (Apex Fare)
Last year Leh-Delhi spot prices were around 8000 bucks one way...
I am checking for exact fares... shall post soon.

Yes, that's correct for ONE adult only!
The moment you ask for 2 adults + one child, it jumps to Rs. 23500/-!! |

I think that 6000 bucks for 1 return ticket for Delhi-Leh is quite reasonable.... Considering Ahmedabad-Delhi costs around 4500, Ahmedabad-Mumbai costs around 4000 and Ahmedabad-coimbatore costs around 7000.
And yeah if you wanna enjoy with the family.... you will have to pay the price....

How come that's possible... Let me check... or do it the other way around... book 3 individual tickets... and enjoy...

I'll only go to enjoy ladakh snow when I can afford to have my own Snowmobile or Snowcat!

Delhi - Leh one way was around 1100 (excluding taxes) INR just a few hours ago on airdeccan, add the tax around 1500(?) INR, and it makes 2600 for a single adult one way journey in February via airdeccan. happy flying.

I have heard that Air Deccan isn't very reliable (regarding ontime performance & have experienced it a couple of times myself) and when its about to Leh Airport... which is under military control... I would definitely rely on Jet or Indian... Moreover its only a few hundred bucks more...
BTW Anybody want's to have a ride on chopper.... I had heard from the A. O. GH owner "thupka" that Indian Army operates chopper service between Leh - Sumur for just Rs. 25...
Confirm it with your contacts in Leh or Sumur and then venture out....
