Can anyone who has untaken this helicopter-flight hasknowledge abt it elaborate cost of air-transportation/process of flight upto the shrine plz share it???

The pony ride /trek might be too tiring for old people/it might be dangerous for heart patients.

I think helicopter services price would be at par with expensive ponies/palanquin(palakhis)

for ~100 bucks, you get the fantastic battery powered cart. only 50+/ medically unfit people allowed. more details will find and get back to you - methinks it only works from ardhakunwari.

around 2000 bucks (afaik) from Katra to Saanjhi Chat, helicopter doesn't take u to the holy shrine, but from Saanjhi chat, its only downhill, comfortable walk....

I think its better ke trust does this else people will pay the money to pujaris..

My dad has taken the one way helicopter service for Vainshnodevi.Quite good service for some one who can not climb..

nopes boss, completely wrong! You still queue for the last 100m, and get as less/much time as everyone else. Tirupathi is ofcourse completely different!

Tirupati too I think you have to stand in queue for some considerable distance after a cellar entry.Or you have special timings altogether.Unless you are anil ambani/amitabh bachhan or some minister wherein the entire queues are stopped for 'security reasons'.Me writing a tirupati travel guide tommorow

Umm, here's what we got toknow last year in tirupati.

2500+ pujaari jugaad = actually sitting through aarti. timings are different too
in general, 2500 ticket = get right up close to the deity.
100 ka darshan is basically get pushed away some 10m away from deity.

queueing distance i'm not aware, though am sure, one wouldnt have to sit through all those queue halls.

HItanshuu Ji: Same goes for Vaisho Devi too: Rs. 1100 for one person from a family to stand in the aarti, 2100 two people, and Rs. 5100 for 5 (upper limit).......
