Responsible behaviour would require that one
stands by what one has said. The freedom to go and change it after a few weeks or months would lead to a lot of needless arguments about what HAD been said earlier and the poster will possibly DENY that he had ever posted such a thing!
Archives will need to be maintained to store every change made to each post. Needless amounts of moderation will be required to keep it all from becoming completely chaotic!
Then, Moderators' decisions will be called into question. Perhaps voting will be suggested, or having a poll!!
In short, a complete no no.
At least that is the way I see it.
Personal
whims and fancies have their time and place, but I do not believe that a public forum is that platfrom. There are chatrooms and many other equivalent fora wherein those urges can be fulfilled!
