I’ll be updating the forum on next weekend (27-28 July) and since it will be a pretty major update, I am requesting all members to save important PM’s and update their email addresses.

I will try to ensure there is no data loss during the update, however there can be an instance where pm’s, avatars and passwords get corrupted. While we will be manually backing up your avatars; pm’s and passwords are some thing that are encrypted in the database hence can not be accessed by administrators.

So please ensure you either save your pm’s to your computer’s hard drive or copy and email them to your email address. Please update your email id listed in your profile to ensure it is a valid and working one, so in case of password corruption you can reset the password.

The update is likely to take any where between 2-48 hours, during which the forum will be inaccessible.
