Upcoming server move
Hi every one, we will be moving to a new server this weekend. While we will try to minimize the downtime, it is likely that few of you will experience problem accessing the forums.

The scheduled server move is supposed to happen on late Friday night and by morning everything should be back to normal, in case any of you have problem accessing the forum on Saturday morning, please follow the following steps.

Click on start - then click on run - type cmd there and click ok - in the comand prompt, type ipconfig/flushdns and press enter.

This should flush out the old dns records and should help you connect, however in case you are unable to connect, please send me an email to yogeshsarkar@gmail.com

Same here. First I got logged on to the old server. Then the flush did not work. So finally using the IP address thoughtfully provided!

Re: Upcoming server move
Same here, server move took longer than expected (should have been over by ~11-12 but only completed by morning) and situation would only be back to normal by afternoon or evening (though you will be able to access through ip address).

DNS prorogation can take anywhere between 24-48hours, though I expect it to be completed by today itself.

Re: Upcoming server move
Flushdns didn't have the desired results for me either. The command ran though.
Setu: Which OS?

Re: Upcoming server move
But I must say the site is noticeably faster now! Including images loading from the same server which used to be pretty slow earlier.
