Not 100% sure, as far as I remember, all that was needed to be removed was the black screw and other small bolts on the top and bottom.

Oh .. due to some reason I missed this thread ....
I desperately wanted to increase my headlight light ... Mine is P180 V1. Visibility is too bad at night if going at a speed above 60. I will go to some service center very soon and get the coil plate change done. Which headlight is better in 55/60 ? Osram or Philips Crystal Vision ? Thanks Yogesh for this useful information .... And the snaps are good too .....

Take it to a mechanic and watch him he do it, last thing you would want to do is to mess up a mounting point.

Hi All,
I think that this set up will not work in pulsar 150 dtsi without self starter. I could see that in the avenger's stator plate there is a green wire separately for neutral, but in the stock, the green wire is connected in the wiring harness itself. Today me and my mechanic tried to figure out a way to connect it, but never worked.... any suggestions....... |

One doubt ...
What will happen if I upgrade my 35W with 55/60W and not upgrade the coil plate to Avenger 180's ? My vehicle is P180 DTSi (Self start) Is there any risk in doing that ? (like circuit breakage / short) Will brightness be less ? A local mechanic told me that I can upgrade headlight to even 80W without changing the coil plate ... wanted to confirm with you guys ... |

Have tried that, there is a noticeable load on the engine once you switch on high beam and at low rpm the lighting is worse than on the stock 35w halogen!
