Guys,

Need help in planning my visit to Uttarkashi somewhere in Oct this year.
Have got less than 24 hrs to reach Uttarkashi from Mumbai.

Planning to book an earlymorning flight from Mumbai to Delhi. but not too sure what public transport would be available to reach Uttarkashi the same evening.

Train to Haridwar ( 4 hours ETR, check IRCTC ) and then hire a cab to reach Uttarkashi! I dont know if there is a faster way available.

No train from Mumbai can get you to Uttakashi (by train to Haridwar & Taxi thereof) in 24 hrs. It can only be flight to Dehradun & Taxi after that.

Err..I meant train to Haridwar from Delhi as he already mentioned that he will be catching the early morning flight from Mumbai for Delhi.

Early morning flight to Delhi and book connecting flight to Dehradun. Hire a cab there.
