Hi Guys,

A friend of mine working with fullerton requires a flat (1/2 BHK) in Andheri or nearby areas. He is ready to pay any advance required. He is looking to pay around 10K as rent.

Hi Prasham,
10k in Andheri for a 2BHK is a bit difficult.I guess your friend will have to settle for a 1BHK or a studio apartment.That too he might get in an old construction.

The rent for 2BHK in Andheri (East) area will be approx 20-25k pm.If it's in West,it will be higher.

The advance prevailing in Mumbai is around 10-12 months rent. However,if you pay a higher advance (typically your employers take care of it),then the rent may come down.The rate is approx 800 Rs per lac of advance.

I was staying in Goregaon last year and paying 10k for a 2BHK AND my company had paid 7lacs deposit!

As of today the rate in the same area is about 15k with 7 lacs deposit.

I shall check with local brokers and come back to you by tomorrow.
