Looking to buy second hand bike - suggestions requested

Hi All,

Am looking to buy a second-hand bike for local commute in Mumbai. Any suggestions on which would be the best one to buy. Not quite sure of the budget yet.

Is it advisable to take a second-hand 100 cc bike on rides out of town? What other options can I consider? I was thinking of a Pulsar150,but at 40k it seems to be outside my budget.

Keep an eye on the Pulsar family (P150/180/200) communities on orkut. Several bikes come up for sale there. You will easily get one at about 30K or lower.

I think you can have a new bike from GLOBAL MOTORS for that amount, but I'm not sure whether they are a VFM.

That's the sister concern of XENITIS Group, Kolkata which is famous for their "Amar PC" brand of computers in WB and "amchi PC" in Mumbai. Now they have 2 models of bikes, one is 100 CC and another is 125 CC, AFAIK. I have seen some guyz riding it in Kolkata, personally talked with 2 guys and they said that it's running well, no issues.

I think they offer brand new bike for around 25k.

Their bikes are the cheapest in India. Ex-showroom price of Rock 100 is Rs. 19990/= On road price should be within 25K.
