Wanted : RE 500 std (not older than 2002)

I'm looking for a used Enfield 500 Std (buying a new one isn't an option since the company stopped production )

The bike should be in good conditions and preferably single owned... but not older than 2002 model... (unless you've kept it really well and it hasn't done too many miles...er...kilometers)

I'm located in Himachal so it will be easier for me to buy from anyone in North India region... but I'm open to sellers from other parts of India as well if I fall for your bike... gives me an excuse to ride all the way back from there...

I had about Rs. 60K to spare but there has been a recent "unfortunate" development because of which I'll have to postpone the purchase by a few months... but thanx nonetheless... It's a good idea to keep an eye on the classifieds... will certainly do that...

To Avinash Siddhu - I've noted your no. as well.... will contact you at the right time... saw your picasa pics as well... quite an adventurous guy you seem to be... lovely ! I'm hoping (& planning) to travel through spiti, lahaul & Ladakh next summer... lets hope I'm able to buy an enfield 500 std well in time... need to get a hang of it and learn repairs as well... wish me luck !
