Fiat Launches Grande Punto
Fiat has launched the Grande Punto in India with prices starting from 3.99 Lakhs for the base 1.2 Active Petrol going up to 6.11 Lakhs for the 1.3 Diesel Emotion Pack.

I wouldn't say allergy, but the kind of state it was in a few years back, isn't very confident inspiring as people buy cars for long term and want the companies to be around. Of course the fact that it drinks like any thing (or at least it used to), never stuck the right cord with majority of mileage minded junta.

FIAT is already serving more than half of the most fuel efficient engines (Diesel) in the country. Namely Maruti Swift/Indica Vista/Dzire/New Indigo Vista/Palio/Linea etc. All powered by Fiat Multijet 1.3, few more expected are SX4/Chevy Aveo/Spark etc.
So cannot be blamed for bad fuel economy atleast. However their major concern was servicing issues, even that has been taken care of (strictly comparatively) after tie up with TATA. |

agree..see more fiat's on road these days and with Punto they have hit the happening segment too.
Things are getting better and hope this will benefit the indian customer in a good way
