Mahindra Xylo, now with free 4 year warranty!

Mahindra and Mahindra has announced, that for a limited period (1st September - 31st September 2009), they will be offering free 4 year/100,000km warranty with Mahindra Xylo.

i just took testdrive of this ?car / ?UV. Good space, bad interior, bad plastics, ridicules driving experience ( gears, vibration, it’s CRDI engine and its noise, hard clutch, accelerator – nothing could impress me).

Actually you are right, I dont like the looks either.

I had taken a test drive too. Only thing which impressed me is the space inside and rest all is ordinary. IMO the drive and handling was better than a Scorpio.

Agreed that the Xylo may not be the best looking vehicle in the Indian market, but common sense dictates that Xylo is a complete value for money compared to the other cars in the MUV segment. To say the Innova, the Xylo is more powerful, steadier, and has a host of modern features like flatbed seats, DDS, ABs, engine immobiliser, and intellipark reverse assist which would put a host of other cars at a similar price range to shame. @ Bharat : I've test driven the Xylo and the driving experience was not bad at all, lets not judge according to solo experiences. (driven an Innova as well)

Xylo's strength is not its styling and its refinement. Xylo's strength is its sturdiness, its size, the power its mEagle engine delivers and new features that are not present in other MUV's. The sales figures are proving that Indian buyers will consider Value for Money over and above looks. And Xylo delivers just that, full Value for Money. As far as looks are concerned, I feel that Xylo's looks are pretty decent. Nothing to be dissatisfied about.
