It seems everyone is fixed on the squarish boot cover of LOGAN.
Stop for a second and think what it does to your second large suitcase? It accommodates it.
While scouting to buy a good diesel car in the range of 6-7 lac
i test drove and did deep research on Dezire, Ford Fusion+, Logan and Fabia.
Swift VDI is much better than Dezire as its rear window screen is small and as a driver I get very limited view. Rear passengers are not comfortable.
Ford Fusion+ makes a lot of noise when car with a/c on and the car is stationary. With a/c on, the pick up is very weak. the warranty and other services offered by Ford is very confusing. The spares are very expensive.
THE FABIA MAKES TOO MUCH NOISE FOR THE PRICE IT EXTRACTS FROM ITS CUSTOMERS.
The noise level outside the car is higher than Dezire but less than Ford Fusion+ and FABIA. Once inside, the NVH reduction is exemplary. While driving one has to lower window to find how much noise is reduced. One can hear music at the lowest volume. I wish Mahindra gives better quality of music system.
I picked up car with reading of 28 km on tachometer. on Chandigarh Delhi drive driving shade under 90 KMPH with A/C on the overall mileage achieved was 24.9.
The trip computer is excellent. My advice is never to exceed 1800 RPM and maintain 75-80 KPH speed to achieve the dream mileage.
The car can accommodate 5 very large passengers with total comfort,not found in any car.
Last but not the least is the boot space management.
Logan Is ECONOMY. In City driving with 5 adults and a/c on the cost of fuel is 0.31 paise per km per passenger.
