Sachin nice list, thanks buddy.
Bhuwan news paper can serve multiple usages; one can use them for putting tools/spares when fixing some thing to using them as protection in case any of the glass of the windows break. Not to mention they can be put above the floor mat if you will be getting down on the muddy places.

emergency-hammer... the one which can break laminated-windscreens easily! and also cut the seat belts, easily again!
its a great life-saver!
wrap it up in white reflective tapes & some glow-in-dark stickers... and it'll be an easier thing to locate in real emergencies in dark!

Sachin thats an interesting point you have mentioned and this could come in handy in case of an accident and the doors getting pinned.

If someone takes extra fuel in a can he should take a funnel along so that he can pour the fuel into the tank as it can be tricky in some cars.
SUV owners (or cars without a separate boot) sholud take garbage bags so that they can place the petrol cans in them and tie them up (airtight) to avoid feeling nauseated by the fumes.
also try and get a robust/reliable electric pump instead of a foot pump. u dont want to pump manually up there.
First aid kit

Rohan good points regarding funnel and plastic bags, will surely add it to the guide. First kit etc. will be dealt in another section dedicated to it.
