Now you can upload photos/attachments directly on BCMTouring, every user has 200mb of disk space to upload photos and attachments, which would be further increased in future.

To upload photographs or attachments, click on this icon

on the tool bar which appears on the new topic/advance reply box, as shown in the photograph bellow.
Name: new-topic.jpg
Views: 460
Size: 33.9 KB

Once you have clicked that icon, manage attachment box would appear in another window:

Click on browse and then choose the photograph you want to upload from your computer and then click on upload:

You can upload up to 5 attachments/photographs in one go and once they have been uploaded, repeat the above process to upload more photographs.

Once all the files have been uploaded, close the manage attachment window.

Now in case of images, you can insert them directly into your post, for this, click on the

icon again and you will be present with a list of files which you have just uploaded.

Click to choose the photograph you want to insert and that file will be inserted in the message reply box, where your cursor was:

Now format your post the way you want and click on submit and share your experience with rest of the travelers

Oh yes, in case the photo is larger than the size mentioned in the attachment section, server should be able to resize it

Thanks a Ton Yogesh. I had been missing this feature terribly...

I have a picasa gallery which doesnt support hot linking and its always been a pain to upload again at photobucket.

This rocks!!

picasa supports hotlinking. You can just write a small text replace utility in excel to do the job

Yes it does.
Go to your specific album in Picasa - click specific image - Righthand side menu has a way to get links to 3 different sizes of thumbnails including the 800x image size.
