Here is a video of Eric performing World’s Highest Burnout on his Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi at Khardung La, which is located at an altitude of 18,380ft and currently holds the record for being world’s highest motorable road.
The burnout was done on 6th September 2007 by Eric on his Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi during BCMTouring’s trip to Ladakh. His bike was also the first Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi to make it to Ladakh. Not quite, LOL.
If a proper burnout were done, Eric would have been in deep shit on top of Khardung La! Burnout - Rider applies the front brake and quickly accelerates causing the rear wheel to loose traction and spin so that the tyre rubber overheats and begins to smoke and disintegrate. |

Sir download the high res version and you can see slight smoke. Also its really hard to use up all the rubber during burnout in Indian bikes.

Sir I have seen a guy try to burst his 10k old tyre by doing burnouts (which already had done lots of burnouts), the guy even managed to take his bike to third gear while doing burnout and even after almost half an hour long burnout session nothing happened. He finally gave up and even though the tyre was almost finished, the tube was still intact.

Akshay that bike also had a Duro and was also a Karizma and even though the center tread disappeared, it didn’t get punctured/bust even though Vikhyat and Bunny tried their best.
Ps. where is Amar these days and how is he doing? |
