I am planning to start trekking in a couple of months, can any one suggest an easy trek in North India (preferably in Himachal) that can be done in one day and is 3-5 kms one side with not too steep gradient?

That is what I have initially thought of as well

serolskar is a nice trek to start off with
![]() easy only if there is no snow/ice can be quite tricky at places if there is ice |

Manali To Brighu Lake Trek
The Bhirgu Lake is at an altitude of 4235 metres lying east of the Rohtang Pass and is 6 km from Gulaba. its is easy & 2 day trek you can do easily . ![]() ITINERARY Day 1 - Manali - Gulaba (by car) - Bhrigu Lake (4235m) Day 2 - Bhrigu Lake - Gulaba– Manali. yogesh you can do it easily this trek Avinash Siddhu |

Walk to Hatu peak from Hotel Hatu via the trekking route(not the motorable road).
