Need riders for the road trip to kanyakumari........

Hi Guys i am going to go on my bike from Mumbai to the southermost Tip of mainland India thats kanyakumari.............
gonna start on 8th of march


I am going 2 follow a criss cross route to reach kanyakumari a criss cross route along the western coast........its tentatively a 14 days trip with a visit to hampi and many historical places.......

Bangalore Trichy 14th march

Trichy 15th march

Trichy to Madurai 16th march

Kanyakumari ernakulam 20th march

Ernakulam Mangalore 21st march

Mangalore Goa 22nd march

Goa Mumbai (if possible vl break th journey) 23rd march

Hey Vivek, the plan looks interesting.

BTW, do you plan to visit Trichy temple,?? IF yes, take that route, if not no need to go to Trichy. Can go directly to Madurai from Salem. It will save you time, distance and energy. All through NH7 which is almost complete.(between Blr - KK).

Hey Vivek, the plan looks ultimate to me. Covers many historical places which I feel is your interest.

Two suggestion from my side:
1. Hampi - Though haven't been here, yet know of some enchanting travel experiences. The half-destroyed structures here are awesome.
2. Rameshwaram - Rode to this place recently. You will get the ramanathaswamy temple there. Also this is on the east coast with unique landscapes. Route Madurai to Rameshwaram on NH 49 (not well maintained)

I am too thinking to ride south, somewhat like your plan.. but not sure, i wont get much leaves from job so i will try to return back soon.. my major halts will be Bangalore, kanyakumari and goa.. and if i do then i will be doing it in the first week of march..
