Hey dude .. there is nothing like that.. U can parcel anything to any station where any train goes

But it would be faster if u parcel in a train which has same ending station as your parcel's destination... If parcel has to go through one or more transit stations then expect an indeterministic delay

Mine is Pulsar 180 DTSi V1.

A lot of uncertainties in bike transportation via Train. Let me check whether we can take 6 bikes together.

I decided to transport my bike from Bangalore to Chandigarh via GATI courier service. They quoted 3K including all (packing and transportation). Cost wise it is only 500 Rs extra to railway. And no worries about delay in Railway parcelling ...

I could have taken it as luggage but don't want to take the risk of less space in luggage van. Ours is a weekly train from Trivandrum to Chandigarh

Will update the actual cost after doing it ..

You might want to check, how much extra it is to ship the bike to Mandi. It would save you the trouble of riding in plain

We are going there by train and its ending station is Chandigarh. One of us just learned riding. He bought Thunderbird for this trip. So I would like him to ride some kms @ plains before jumping into tougher terrains ....

This is our first trip to North and we all are very excited to ride a longer distance ....
