Why don’t you guys ride it straight from HYD to DEL?

Then crash the schedules! Manage the floats! Where ever possible go for some overlapping and multi tasking! Make your productivity > 1

Well people here have mixed experiences. Some feel Gati is better while many feel Railways is more reliable. I think its would be better to book it with Gati or similar as they would be atleast answerable for any damages. Railway people won't even listen to your complaints.

Now take your pick.

Reasons we prefer to transport the bike by train
1. we are sure trains will reach Delhi on the due date.(delays on 4-5 hours expected which is ok because our flight reaches delhi at 10ish and we should be there when the train comes in)
2.heard lots of stories of bikes not reaching on time when sent through road which causes further delay to the trip.
3. I would have to sen my bike 15 days in advance and if it reaches delhi 2 days in advance, I wouldn't want my bike stranded in their office for 2 days without supervision.
4. Train transportation is 2-3 times cheaper than road transport

I would like to know about the private packers in the railways.
