Default Corbett - monsoon

Since bijrani and dhikala ranges in corbett are closed in august, i was thinking of doing a quick weekend to jhirna range, but never been there.

Anyone has any advice on whether its worth it, what mammals can be sighted, places to stay etc...

Thanks

whales...been there done that.
reptiles...neither exciting not attractive
birds....attractive but not exciting
mammals (tigers, elephants) - attractive and exciting

Hence dont want to go to some far-off shrub to see a bird and a lizard.

Perfect 10...

Do they allow elephant or jeep safaris of parliament?

The only other concern is that unlike tigers, these mammals suck human blood even when their tummy is full.
