Bharat : As long as info is from Genuine sources(Like official site of PWD, listing guest houses) , it can be posted, I presume !!!
Prasham: your statements never looked offending, & I am very sure of our Bharat bhai that he didn;t get hurt, he was just curious/confused

No Worries.
See basically, I did gathered a lot of information lately because I was planning for a family trip and did not want to take chances with wife and 2 yr old kid, as my wife wanted to do in winter, I had to do too much info gathering to ensure we are not stuck with my kid. On my earlier trips I never even cared to think of any hotel or route, just took my Indica out |

You are planning to visit Kalpa etc in winter with a 2 yr kid? Being a father of similar aged kid, I would strictly advice you against it!

You can definitely take your kid there in winter. After all in the west kids are born in such temperatures, but then you have to take some severe precatutions
1. Proper clothing. Not your run of the mill sweaters, but high quality thermals with waterproof windproof suits for the top layer. Some stuff may be hard to find in Delhi 2. Proper shoes 3. After a snow play session(kids love it), make sure you head straight to room with heater. Some rooms may not have working heater, so carry your own blower with you. 4. Never let any part of clothing get wet 5. If your kid gets uncomfortable due to cold, stay indoors. |
