Kumaon Ranges - 25/26 November
Hey Guys
As we were discussing earlier. Planned out a ride to the Kumaon Ranges on this weekend. Route - Delhi - Meerut - Roorkee - Dehradun - Mussouri - Chakrata - Ponta Sahib - Chandigarh - Delhi Starting on Saturday Morning, 25 Nov and Returning back on the 26 Evening (Sunday) Expecting attendance from some of the members from the Orkut Avengers Community as well. Who all are in from BCM |

road conditions
Can someone plesae say abt the road conditions prevailing in this route ....
the return frm dehradun is fine i suppose i will post the route in detail again ... cos i thik going to chandigarh is not required we can get hold of NH72 frm NAHAN and join NH1 at amabala ..... anyways plss update abt condition of road frm delhi --- meerut and all

the Roads are fine till meerut....some stretches on Meerut - Roorkee - Dehradun can be a bit Bumpy...Dehradun to Mussouri is also good.

Did that route back August this year in a Car and i'm hoping it'll be the same or hpoefully better

summet i am looking at the eicher road atlas and i wanted to go to a place called landsdowne in quiet some time ....this wud drstically change the route though ....its in gharwal and one of the most beautiful and untouched places ...
Delhi --- ghaziabad --- Meerut --- Bijnor -- Najibabad---Kotdwara ---Landsdowne --- from here we can either can back to najibabad --- haridwar --- dehradun --- and further .... OR Landsdowne -- Joshyana -- Pauri -- Devprayag --- shivpuri --- Rishikesh -- Doiwala --Dehradun --- and further ... Think over it ......

i am not sure but the riding distance will be another 100- 150 kms more ....
but its almost too ambitious ....

not coming back but going only we dont go delhi -- meerut we go this route ... cos delhi roorkee is anyways bore ...i am just wondering road conditions on delhi meerut bijnor najibabad
