I heard that that there are night camel safari.

thanks

1) I suggest you drop Mt. Abu & Udaipur from the itinerary. Both these places require 2 days each. Acutally Udaipur would need 3 days.

2) My suggestion:
Day 1 - Delhi - Ajmer
Day 2 - Ajmer - Jodhpur
Day 3 - Jodhpur
Day 4 - Jodhpur - Jaiselmer
Day 5 - Jaiselmer (Enjoy night in the sand dunes of Sam)
Day 6 - Jaiselmer - Bikaner
Day 7 - Bikaner - Delhi

3) If you take overnight train from Delhi to Jodhpur, you may actually have a day or two extra. So consider it.

The above ity suggested by Prasham is good - laid back and easy.
However, I suggest you make the return journey from Jaisalmer via Bikaner to Delhi.
Don't have to repeat the Ajmer route.

And instead of Ajmer, stay at Pushkar on Day 1, which is just 20 km from Ajmer and a popular tourist destination.

Indi... Wouldn't going to Bikaner increase the distance? He's planning to go with some elderly people and hence every km should be considered... IMO.

Well, Prasham, according to the distance calculator at MapmyIndia - maps, directions, and local search across India - just search, print and go! Jaisalmer to Delhi via Bikaner is 873 km, and via Ajmer it is
899 km.

This is what i was saying in the beginning to drop one or two places.

This itinerary looks good.

Yes, an add on by Indizen for the return route looks valuable.

I fully agreed with Prasham.

Himanshu, either plan for Udaipur and Mt Abu or Jodhpur and Jaislemer, don't combined them both, this may hectic for your parents.
