August is generally considered as the best month, even though it is monsoon season in rest of North India. However it is also the peak tourist season (understandably so).

I would advise you to look at last week of August
1. Everything is open 2. Tourists are vanishing 3. You have a month long window till end september 4. You can even get light snowfall at P.Tso and the passes |

Is it tough enough ? I was planning to go there by my Indica V2.

August last week would prove doable by the indica vista too. But I am not sure about Pagal Nallah. If bridge gets washed out, and you get raging torrents, you may not be able to do pangong in your car.
However, if you plan it in a way that you reach tangste at night, early morning next day you cross the nallah, and then come back next day early morning, you will be able to do it! |

I guess it would depend on the couple, personally I wouldn’t term it as the ideal honeymoon destination, because you have to somewhat deal with AMS etc. and I don’t think that anyone would want to do that on their honeymoon, but then again it comes down to personal preference.
