tanveer, via this banur road, Rupnagar to ambala is just 76 kms, which we did in 1 hr. only.
The route through morinda is approx 91 kms, and the other road through zirakpur is 85 kms. |

So Bharat, for this Banur road, you take right from Rajpura? Can you mark on the map where you take right from NH1 after ambala.
I guess this roads meets the Chd/Ropar road at Kharar? |

yes, at kharar the road meets to main road. Small segments of this road on kharar side are two lane, and widening work is going on, rest is 4-lane , and borders and devider work is on, but road is very smooth and wide, here is the pic from that road.

tanveer, from the NH-1 / NH-22 Bifurcation point at kingfisher - ambala, you will be at ghaggar river twin bridge on nh-1 at 8.0 kms point, after one more km, and before 100 meters of toll, there is right turn from nh-1. So no need to go to rajpura, which is further 16 kms from there.
