Your Leh plan looks OK.
There's only one way to include Chandratal - add at least one more day to your plan.
If you're REALLY lucky the track to Chandratal might be motorable when you reach there! This would allow you to save a lot of (trekking) time.

BTW, this thread ought to go in the Ladakh sub-section. The mods will do it. But there is a wee problem: there is already a thread there with the same title mis-spelt as 'Ladhak Trip'!

The plan looks a bit too cramped for my style, how are you planning to travel i.e. car/taxi/motorcycle?

Topic moved to Ladakh and Zanskar section

Anup sir apart from causing slight confusion, thread with similar name won't cause any problem.

Since you are keen to do Chandratal, you can do Manali-Batal-Chandratal-Batal-Keylong on day 2. This will also be a good plan from acclimatization point of view, as you'd go to high altitude and return to lower altitude for the night.
Then try Keylong-Leh in one day. It's doable. Depends on driver/s. Else break journey at Sarchu/Pang.

If the 'contingent' is the same one as the Manikaran- Manali trip, there should not be any problem!

Rishab my advice would to not hire a Scorpio from Delhi.

Firstly you can not drive a commercial vehicle other than that from Leh to the tourist circuit in Ladakh i.e. Nubra and Pangong Tso. So you would need to either take a private number vehicle from Delhi or hire another vehicle from Leh once you reach there.

Secondly the driver from here would be as susceptible to AMS as you and if he by any chance gets hit badly with it, you will be in a sticky situation.

My advice would be to take a Volvo or a deluxe bus from Delhi to Manali and once in Manali, hire a taxi to Leh which would stop at Keylong/Darcha on the first night and then would reach Leh other day. While this would make second day hectic, it would save you the trouble of staying at Sarchu and would let you enjoy the first day to the fullest.

While coming back you can do the Leh - Manali stretch in a single day in what is called a cannon ball run, while it isn’t something I personally recommend, however with your tight schedule; it would actually save you the trouble of doing Keylong - Delhi in one and a half days i.e. the last leg of your trip could be like this:

28th Leh - Sarchu - Manali (start in the wee hours of morning and reach Manali by nightfall).

29th relax in Manali and unwind till afternoon and then catch a bus back to Delhi in the evening to reach Delhi on the 30th morning.

Rest looks fine, though having another day to spend in Leh would have made it a bit more relaxing, since you will be traveling continuously from 24th to 30th.

Yes, Rishabh, that bit is very true. Don't HIRE a taxi from Delhi.
You can hire a Tempo Traveller Manali to Leh.
At Leh, hire a local taxi for all your needs.
For return you can again take your favourite TT!

Oh yes, there is one little issue, if you were planning to hire a private taxi from Delhi, then it might turn out to be slightly cheaper.
