Hi,

We have planned a ladakh trip starting 6th june to 16th June. Please see attachment. We would be traveling by Tata Safari.

Can somone please advice if this is ok or not? Also can someone please suggest some hotels at pangong and ladakh?

Day 6 & 7 would possibly end up being really hectic and taking away the pleasure factor.

Eco Huts on the banks of Pangong Tso is a nice option to stay I guess and there are hotels to suit all needs & budgets in Leh, check here for some options listed by our members.

Can anyone suggest some hotel at pangong?

Eco huts as mentioned by Shamik and there is one more hotel at Spangmik which has rooms available for Rs. 1,200/night and tents for Rs. 800/night. Apart from that you can also get accomodation at Spangmik in guest houses run from home, they charge Rs.200-300.

My suggestion would be to do a day trip to Pangong Tso and do a two day trip to Nubra Valley and for the time being, skip out on Gulmarg.

Here is an itinerary that you can try:

Day 1: Delhi - Manali

Day 2: Manali - Jispa/Darcha

Day 3: Jispa/Darcha - Pang

Day 4: Pang – Leh

Day 5: Leh (rest and get the permits and do some local sight seeing.)

Day 6: Leh – Khardung La – Diskit (Nubra Valley)

Day 7: Diskit - Hunder - Diskit - Sumur - Panamik - Khardung La - Leh

Day 8: Leh - Pangong Tso - Leh

Day 9: Leh - Kargil

Day 10: Kargil - Srinagar

Day 11: Srinagar - Pathankot

Day 12: Pathankot - Delhi

In case you have multiple drivers, you can try to do Jispa - Leh in one day and there by save one day which you can spend at Pangong Tso. You can also try and do Diskit - Pangong Tso (if you don’t visit any other place that day) and it should be doable in roughly 10-12hours if you don’t encounter any problems in between.
