Hmm, now that makes it more clear.

I have myself stayed at Kargil for 3 days and enjoyed the stay Amit Bhai.

I felt deep within me the innocense of people living there what is hard to find in place like Delhi and other metropolitans.

Amit has already clarified my earlier post, apart from that, I don't really like Kargil because of this Kargil, vegetarian's hell! | Yogesh Sarkar's Blog.

People there are ok, but I personally find people of Ladakh and Zanskar much more friendly and innocent. Plus Kargil is usually warmer, which I don't like.

Personally I would spend the extra day at Nubra Valley or maybe even at Pangong Tso. If you do not want to do that, then you can visit Alchi and Lamayuru, this will also give you a feel of the Leh - Kargil highway. Alternatively you can do white water rafting in Zanskar River at Chilling and Alchi.

3rd, you have very less to do, Hunder-Panamik-Hunder is not worth whole day, there is absolutely nothing at panamik.
Is this slow pace intentional?

I suggest spend extra day at Pangong, try to stay at homestay in Spangmik.

31-1 in leh
2 leh - hunder
3 hunder - sumur - panamik - hunder
4 hunder - pangong
5 pangong - leh
6 - rest/buffer day
7 - ????
8 leh - upshi - mahe - tso moriri
9 tso moriri - tso kar - pang - sarchu
10 sarchu-manali

if i do leh-manali in 3 days i have a free day. what should i do in that one day?

we would like to cover as many places as possible. not if we will be able to visit ladakh ever again. so would prefer not to stay at the same place.

Nubra Valley is a beautiful place and these days you can try your luck in going beyond Hunder as well. I had done that during BCMTouring Group ride to Ladakh and everyone had enjoyed it.

I completely agree with RKB's opinion about Panamik. Instead as he said spend a day at Pangong or as YS said try your luck ahead of Hunder.

spoke to my fellow travellers. they dont want to take risk of going beyond hunder.
also as of now we are being positve and travelling on all days (no buffer days). if we are unable to travel on a particular day then will decide what to do next.

so we have sort of confirmed on the below iternary.

31- reaching leh
1 moving around leh
2 leh - hunder (sand dunes)
3 hunder - pangong
4 pangong - leh
5 leh - lamayaru - kargil (night halt)
6 kargil - dras (everybody wanted to see the coldest inhabited place in india) - kargil
7 kargil - lamayaru - leh
8 leh - upshi - mahe - tso moriri
9 tso moriri - tso kar - pang - sarchu
10 sarchu-manali
11 in manali leav in the night for delhi
12 take flight back to bombay
