Hi all,
I was referred to this forum by my collegue (Pankaj). I am planning a trip to Ladakh this year (1st week of June). I will have about 11-12 days and would like to do this trip on a bike starting from Delhi. I wish to visit both Khardungla and Pangong. Could someone please help me with the itenerary for this trip. Thanks |

Day 1 : Delhi - Manali
Day 2 : Manali - Sarchu Day 3 : Sarchu - Leh Day 4 : Leh rest & Acclimatize , permits, local monastries Day 5 : Leh - Khardung La - Nubra Valley (diskit, Hunder) Day 6 : Hunder, Panamik, K La, Leh Day 7 : Leh - Pangong Tso Day 8 : Pangogn Tso - Leh Day 9 : Leh - Sarchu Day 10 : Sarchu - Manali Day 11 : Manali - Delhi Day 12 : Buffer Thats the most basic itinerary. Fine tuning can be done as per your preferences.

we too are going on 29th may and YS has helped me to fine tune we are planning tso moriri while coming back it will require one day extra and you can join in leh manali route again at moorie plains

Alternatively, you can do Manali - Leh journey in three days to enjoy the scenery or take the Srinagar route, while coming back.

@hiambuj: Nice concise itinerary. Considering ~570kms, is it feasible to do Delhi-Manali in one go on bike?
I am also planning a similar trip in the end of May. |

Varun !! You'll have to start early, 4ish in the morning !! & you can do Delhi-Manali in 1 day !! Most bikers here do it !!

I'd advise you guys to keep a buffer day in Leh also, to get your bikes checked etc. and to rest and recuperate
