Engineers at Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) might have finally designed the goose that could lay golden eggs for them.

According to sources, the Japanese two-wheeler giant is engrossed in secretly testing out a new motorcycle at its factory in Maneswar, Gurgaon. Codenamed KWFA and christened the CBF Stunner, the new bike is likely to hit the showrooms by August this year and is supposed to sport an ex-showroom price tag of around Rs 52,000.

honda again not trying to improve on wht they have but ready to roll another 125 cc commuter they have nothing for the premium segment which is growing as even uncles these days are more intrested with 150cc bike rather going for a 125 cc commuter... will ever honda think of getting some performance bikes in india .. !!!!

Some time ago there was a rumor of an 180cc motorcycle from Honda and similarly about 250cc as well, but nothing came out. I agree with you that Honda needs to launch larger capacity motorcycles, maybe a fi version of Karizma. Also I think that fairing etc. would have been more apt for Unicorn, rather than Shine.

Also it is likely to look like these, once it is released.

wish we have some better machines than a commuter bike in india .... !!!!! they can do gud business if they can run in with a good 250cc touring bike with some technology on i and even if it will cost some where around 90k's then also a lot of gravity to catch a number in market.! india is still lacking a very gud touring bike

Rahul, Honda is more than capable of launching a 200-250cc motorcycle to rival the Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi, however it is all about the willingness. Which some how is lacking in almost all the Japanese motorcycle companies present in India.

sach yogesh bhai u r true thay have better beasts in there stable all these japanies but dont know why they are not at all intrested to launch some gud bike here ..... but then they are far more advance than the tech bajaj uses ... sry for being off topic but then any news abt Kawa 2R

So its the wee bit reworked Shine motor-chasis combo with new clothes and some goodies! The Gladiator SS / RS have competition in the 125cc class now!

kya yaar.. i thought our country was going towards better performance bikes.. but it seems that the segments remain the same (150,125cc).. only the bikes are getting a bit better...
