Honda Stunner PGM-Fi launched in India

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India have launched Honda Stunner PGM-Fi in India. Priced at Rs. 64,630 (ex-showroom, Delhi), Honda Stunner PGM-Fi is the forth motorcycle in India to come equipped with Fuel Injection technology, which is expected to have a positive impact on rideability and fuel efficiency of the Honda Stunner.

Well Unicorn is priced at Rs. 55,955 ex. showroom Delhi, so if you don't mind "old tech", you can save Rs. 8,675 and use that to buy around 211 liters of petrol

That's a good news.But till date none of the Fi bikes have been very popular except the P220 & Yamaha R15.

5-6 K premium over the carbed version would have atleast made some sense, but 14K definitely doesnt! This one will go down the drain without even invoking a yawn from the market I guess.

Thats 2 out of the 4 (if you include stunner then 5) which have been launched in India with Fi.

I don't think a 5 kmpl increase would make people bat an eyelid at this bike (for an additional 14K). IMHO it'll not find a place on the sales chart.

OT: I would love to meet the person who wrote the press release for this launch. A few "interesting" points that caught my eye:

1. Even the top speed of 100 KM/Hr can be enjoyed by biking enthusiasts.
2. It has CBR1000RR inspired dual tone styling and a sporty half-chain case. (wish they would look beyond the paint scheme and the chain cover)!!
3. Among the other attractive feature of CBF Stunner PGM-FI include: Bank Angle Sensor, Premium 3-D Emblem, Handle Weight and the premium key. (WOW!)

Looks like this guy was in Hero Honda earlier!

what has happened to honda, the bike is abruptly priced and they are making us count all the superb upgrades ..lol ( though i am very pissed off)
