Yes, GSR150 was launched yesterday. However the press release only came in today and that's when newsbot picked it. I have corrected the error now.

Take a leaf out of Yamaha's book. The only brighter side I see at least on paper is the 6 speed gearbox. Hope it turns out to be a good performer.

Not even rearset pegs? Seems like a Unicorn wannabe with digital console, an extra cog and twin rear shocks!

That’s not necessarily a bad thing, considering for most tourers Unicorn is the best 150cc in India. Frankly I am impressed by it, since it looks like a bike which can be as decent as Unicorn for touring, though service center availability could/would be an issue.

Ok it doesn’t look as good as the FZ16, but then again who wants to see another poser bike?

The sixth gear looks like an interesting proposition and should be a boon on the highway, especially if they managed to get the gear ratio right. Have to get a test ride of this to see whether or not it is going to be good for touring.

A two up test ride can tell us how it will perform in above 3000 metre ASL

P.S. At 149 kgs kerb, it is heaving than the Honda.

Cheers,
Shamik

Lol, yeah that’s one way of testing it. I am mostly interested in GS150R’s gear ratio, seeing that it is as powerful as Unicorn, the sixth gear would just turn out to be an overdrive unless the gear ratios are lower which could require quicker up-shifts.
