hello respected members

I have a budget of 1lakh and i want to buy a good bike ,

WHICH HAS THREE THINGS
1.RELIABLE ATLEAST 5 YEARS
2.POWERFULL
3.REAR DISC BRAKES
4.AROUD 1 LAKH
5. NOT CRUISER

I only want one thing that bike should be good in power,realibility (long term use), no matter how it looks

1st thing... i think of karizma but i heard from company that thay are going to launch new karizma with rear disc brakes soon FI VERSION , i am listening this from last 4 months.so i cant buy this existing version.

2on thing p220 has not good market report as i reasearched in company workshop and talk to many existing customers but they are not satisfied, always something is happening in their bike,.WRT GEARBOX and engines after 1-2 years.

3rd yamaha R15 has one drawback that it is only 150 cc so I also cant go for that , its not a 1lakh rupee worth.,.and also of it fall once on ground then 5000rupee will fall from pocket in repairing that..

250 CC bike is not for your budget. The only confirmed launch is Kawasaki Ninja 250 CC, the launch is delayed because of the financial meltdown, with a price tag close of 1.75L-2L which is twice your budget. Any other 250 CC model, whatever make except Global Motors, in all probability will be priced in the same range.

Given your budget and your requirement (why so hell bent on Rear Disc??) the only option is RTR-Fi, you can go for it though personally I don't like TVS Mobikes.

P.S. I have been hearing about this upgraded ZMA with FI and Rear Disc and blah blah for the past 2 years so don't hope much. Tell you what, the day ZMA comes out with FI and Tubeless Tyres, I will sell my P200 and get a ZMA.

Let's see, nice fairing, fastest production motorcycle in India and made of good quality, I feel it is worth it if you are mainly planning to use it in city or on the national highways.

If one would to just look at the engine capacity, then a bullet 350 or 500 would have been a better choice!

You have a pretty decent budget for a bike.i have 2 bikes a 200 and an R15.both are good if you want a good bike with nice top end speed and hassle free ride.200 though does not have a good brakes and gear box.R15 is a dream.smooth and extremely efficient.never has it bugged me that it's a 150 cc machine.Disc brakes at both end gives the bike amazing stopping power and immense confidence to the rider.
Go for R15 if you can afford it.Try 220 if you still think CC matters.Anyday better than any of the other machines available.

I've had my share of fun with the 200 but had fun and turned heads with the R15

another bike you can consider is the pulsar 180 ( my first bike ).it's a good budget bike with enough performance and looks to it.but again there are too many of them on the road.Try looking at the FZ16 also.I got a test ride and it's neat.worth the money.

My first choice for you: R15
