Dear Darth Lucifer,
I meant what I had written. Just as an example, Indian road conditions are not so good and if a bike using steel rim with tubeless hits a pothole at high speeds, it may damage the steel rim and air may leak out slowly from in between the space between tubeless tyre and the rim. In such a case, you may need to fill in air every 3-4 days. Such small niggling problems may happen with tubeless tyres in case roads are not so good. If roads are good, tubeless tyres are definitely better. Warm Regards [QUOTE=darth_lucifer;72732] ![]() I guess you meant tubed tyre is no match for tubeless one on good roads.QUOTE]

Dear Phoenix,
This tyre size is imported by the Dealer on his own and he does not buy this from Michelin India. I would suggest 120/90 17 which can be had for a more competitive price.

Oh! okay. Had no idea about this. Its been pretty hard to find a Michelin 2 wheeler tyre dealer around here. Anyway, I'm not too sure a 120/90-17" would fit in my P150 (100/90-17") rear. I was told that 110/90 would be the largest size that could fit without any modification. Is this correct?

I have P150 and I'm currently using 120/80-18" Ranger2 from FKR. I think it will be a definite fit in your pulsar if you remove chain cover. One would like to remove chain cover from pulsar coz it causes a lot of problems with the chain......and I'd removed chain cover almost four years ago and till now, no issues with the open chain........so u can try it......

okay. I'm currently trying to source the R15 tyres. They are a direct fit and are reputed to have very soft rubber. Will be going for them if i can manage to procure them. Lets see. Else will think of modifying/removing the chain cover. But im trying my best to manage the tyre change without any mod

Thanks a lot Yogesh.
@Gaurav: First time I used M45 was way back in 2001. Since then I haven't liked any other tyre like this (more so in wet conditions). After my recent adventure in which I had to push a bike for around 10km's in middle of a summer noon due punctured twice, I don't want to ride a bike without tubeless tyre specially when bike is capable of fitting a tubeless tyre. So, please don't ignore the tubeless tyre range, do bring them on. Oh and please with normal 18" wheel size (I mean 100/90 and so on) not just the oversized fat tyres. Also, its rare of find a stock size tubeless tyre for front too.
