need urgent help with my avenger!!

I am very much tensed with my new bike. it's showing some serious problem regarding coming to neutral and worst is while going from 1st to 2nd; its getting stuck to neutral. brute force without clutch or little high speed over 20 sometimes helps but i dont like that at all for new bike which is only 6 days old.

I never made top speed above 50 or no rash driving. no idea wht to do

If you guys think i am doing something wrong please advice

, you will likely get used to right way i.e. bike's way of shifting.

On a serious note, did you by any chance get that stupid engine oil additive put into your bike?

yes or maybe. they put some white color liquid calling new nanotachnology. you thing that shit is causing problem

Could be, basically there are a few possibilities:

A. You are not yet accustomed to the shifting style of the new bike.
B. There is a problem with the clutch or maybe even the gears.
C. Clutch is slipping due to the additive.
D. Bike is running hot and due to it, oil is loosing viscosity.

Best option would be to take the bike to the service center and ask them to look at it. In case you are too busy to do that or do not want to do that, change the engine oil and put in either Castrol Active 4T Extra 20w50 or Petronas Sprinta 4T 2000 20w50 or if you do not find either of these oil, try and use Elf MotoGold 4.

Ok i took the bike to karol bagh service center and the service man told me that i was pressing the clutch half way. Pressing it completely improves the situation but dont cure it

Yogesh can u also tell me where those engine oil are available so that i will carry them in my first service beforehand.

The one available at Bajaj service centers is good enough, just make sure that they do not mix any additives in it.

YS... though i never used that additive they want us to use..... but i was always curious about its use. Can u throw some light on this additive oil?

Yesterday i went to karol bagh and was looking for some decent windshield. But i dont like the one available in the open market@750RS. Its two piece and looks crappy.

and bajaj one fails in style check. so where can i find good looking windshield in delhi?

Another thing i want to know: on comfort side windshield looks like a welcome addition to avoid the chill-delhi-wind but will restrict the steering movement. I guess it will increase the front wheel weight.

so please advice some options. I will try my luck today again.:P
