well the bikes oil again leaked from the left fork.so went to the company they said we have to look at it cos the fork may have a crack if it had releaked.so left the bike with them and next day said that fork has a crack and will have to be changed but it will not be in warranty. they said if it was a manufacturing defect it should have been from the start.the fork was not available and they send me the bike after putting in the fork oil.
after a week they said that fork has arrived and i can come and get it fixed. i said that i am busy.so they offered to pick up my bike .i said ok and a mechanic came and collected the bike and returned it after fixing it and gave my leaking fork to me.
28 nov got my 2nd service today ,came to the showroom and got the service done . cleaning was not upto the mark. airfilter was cleaned .they did the engine treatment and changed engine oil . and checked chain tension tightened it cleaned and lubricated. overal l satisfactory service. they the owner came and tried to sell me some accessories by buttering me but politely declined by me

yes i had a crash and the bike fell on the left side .thats why i didnt pursue aggressively for the warranty cos i noticed the oil leak after the fall only.
the fork was approx :1100 rs.

too bad.i'm facing small issues myself.the "pass" just does not seem to work and service voes are still a matter of concern.i would expect a different level of service for a bike that's this expensive.they never clean the bike properly, i just can't understand why.bike seems to have lost it's shine after their special coating
spent some 1 k on the second service and 3k for the accessories happy with the tank guard and the rear seat cowl though.Hope a good product will not be ruined by inefficient service.

Don't let the service clean your bike unless it becomes excessively dirty, here is why, Why you shouldn't get your motorcycle washed in a service center

Personally I wash and polish my motorcycle, unless it has just come back from a tour and has tons of dirt around engine as it requires to be cleaned with the help of kerosene. Even then I don't let them polish my motorcycle.

That's an interesting read.waxing the bike is a weekly activity for me.and especially with a black R15 it becomes all the more important that you keep it clean.
after few bad experiences, I've stopped the service center cleaning and waxing. Thanks yogesh, guess i have lots to learn and with guys like you i guess i don't have to make a mistake and learn from it

its been long since i got my bikes chain lubed as it was out of stock at the service station. the chain was making some noise and the clutch was also tight and there was some noise from the headlight visor. called the ss number of times but no sign of chain lube . today they said that the lube is available and went to get the chain lubed .went there and saw that i had missed my third free service datevise but the distance covered was less .but they said that ur third service will not be done .so got my bikes fourth free service.
changed the engine oil from mineral to semi synthetic yamahalube. chain lubed and air filter cleaned. the bike got smoother after the service the clutch was lighter but the noise from the visor persisted.

here's the fun part .the service centre had a MT01 standing .it was bought by the owner of the agency and will be used as a display piece when it will not be used by the owner.the bike is humoungous and heavy.it is beautiful and drooool .sat on it and felt the handles. one thing i realised i will never go for this bike however i may like it .
first it is out of my reach moneywise.
i will have to add 10 kg to my weight and that to all muscle ten kg.
\
this bike is so in your face and brazen .well what can i say it was just stand and admire .

hey, i was surprised that they made you use the 4th coupon.did you give them the third free service coupon?hope you didn't.
i had the same issue.my bike crossed kms but not time.they said "it's ok, but don't repeat it.bike has to be serviced at regular intervals".well, i said " next time i'll be on time"
your service guys needs some stern talking i guess.
