Nowadays I'm residing in New Delhi and in Karol Bagh I don't know anything about the area. I'm searching for a very good and reliable mechanic here.

Last week I went to Naiwala in Karol Bagh and just handed over my bike to the mechanic and asked for the carburettor cleaning and to my surprise he told me that we don't even touch Pulsar's Carburettor and it is very difficult to clean the carburettor. I was shocked with the reply. While I was in Hisar, there in Auto Market (Asia's Largest Auto Market) my mechanic used to clean the carberettor after every 1800 KMs and pretty easily. Even I've also attempted once to clean the same but nowadays time is a real problem.

So, I came back home and thought of posting the same here to find a good and reliable mechanic. It will be a double benefit if the cheapness comes along.

So, guys anybody having a long term excellent relationship with a good and expert mechanic can post here the address for the same.

This will serve as a business enhancement.....

Why in heaven's name do you have to do it every 1800 kms? Your trusted mech has been gleefully making money out of your ignorance.
My bike has 72,000 Kms (Yes, that's seventy two thousand) on the Odo and I have had the carb cleaned only once.

I stay at Noida and take services from a mech in Noida. I guess that'll too far for you.

Actually in Hisar dust factor is the main cause for carburettor and filter cleaning. And the charges are really less. For carburettor and filter cleaning he used to charge only Rs.30 and this sum I can easily pay...

Salil is right, I have also gotten carburetor in my 63k old motorcycle cleaned only once and that too because I wanted to. Sparsh was getting his motorcycle’s carburetor on every service, the rubber covering connecting the carburetor and air filter box had developed cracks which was discovered when he got the piston kit changed.

Carburettors are best not touched till there are definite symptoms indicating problem.
There is no reason why a carb will induct dust unless filters are rogered!!

I got my Yamaha RX135 bike overhauled from them , you can call them and ask if they service Pulsar bikes. Give them my reference, Jayant from Lajpat Nagar.

Carburettors are best not touched till there are definite symptoms indicating problem.
There is no reason why a carb will induct dust unless filters are rogered!!

I think carb cleaning in bikes definitely has a good effect on the mileage and I've experienced the same....

What have you experienced about the mechanic and the cost of repairing and services??

Does he deploy some of the tiny guys to do the service or does he work by himself???

Anyone who has had a good experience with Perfect Motors, please post the review about the same so that I can fix the one for future services of my bike.....Perfect motors is near karol Bagh and on Faiz road as in the above mentioned thread of team BHP....
