Dear Friends,
I found this royal enfield manual (Bullet Standard) by Pete Snidal when I was searching google for information on how the Enfield Crankcase breather works & what happens when the breather is blocked....Just wanted to confirm if malfunctioning of the breather can lead to white smoke from the exhaust....& yes it is one of the reasons. If the breather stops functioning, very high pressure gets created in the crankcase instead of vaccum, resulting in the oil being forced into the cylinder which eventually gets burnt along with the air-fuel mixture resulting in white smoke from the exhaust.
Looks like this is a complete enfield manual (208 pages in PDF format) starting with the basics of 4-stroke engines, describing every part of a bullet, regular maintenance, troubleshooting...
I have uploaded this file to the manual to sendspace.com coz its 8.6 MB.
The file can be downloaded at -

Hopping this manual will help Enfield owners in best maintenance of their BULLS!
Cheers & ride safe,
Ravi
