Started Living-in with a 180 with an option to marry ...
HI Guys,

Last week I finally got my own two set of wheels .. I had retired my trusty Caliber when I moved to Pune and was on the lookout to get a bigger bike. The search went on for two months, and then lady luck smiled on me ... on of my friend suddenly went onsite and handed over the keys to his 180 to me ) .... and I put the condition if his stay gets extended, I get to buy the bike )

Some thing about the bike: Its is a July 2004 Model 180 DTSi ( I think it will be the V1), Blue in colour with about 35+ on the odo. It has its share of falls though nothing major .... one thing though , in his youthfool enthu he got the silencer moded a bit ... so it is a somewhat louder then the other 180s .... so I have decided to christen it "Blue Thunder" ...

Well, I might change the silencer to stock 180 .... when I become the owner ... till then I am content with making the bike suiable for my self .... that means getting a better seat is the first priority ....

Looking forward to a good 3 months ahead and praying that my frds stay gets really extended ;-P

cheers

2004 would be a v1, just to confirm it has 18" rim or 17" alloy? 18" wheels were only present in the classic and v1.

Congrats! The 180 Dtsi V1 is the best Pulsar when it comes to touring. This coming from someone who has the same model with 76K on the Odo.

Totally agree with Salil on 180 V1 being the best 180.
