BJP spokesperson today said that whole of this drama could be politically motivated and the work of those who are sitting in power to divert the attention from the recent MP bribe case.

At first, i did not believe it, but now 17 LIVE bombs recovered, I get a feel that there might be some element of truth in it (though i wish i am wrong).

Are these terrorists really so dumb that they would leave 17 live bombs in open for the police to just take them under their control and dig out all the vital clues that might lead the police to them?

Even if its not true, what are our intelligence agencies doing?

these bloody politicians are too busy fighting with each other, who would think about us.

Unfortunately I have been able to see any news sittign here but have read online news only.

There might be some reality to this. If so, it is highly unfortunate that politicians would do such a thing. How different would they be then from dictators like Saddam?

When I first heard that statement last night, I felt this about the most absurd statement I have ever heard from BJP (barring Musharraf is our friend statement at the time of Kargil conflict).

Personally I don’t believe this even at this point in time and I am really hoping this is not true.

I think bomb blasts at Surat and Ahmadabad have been planned on a same day but some problem occurred in blast so they have thrown packets here and there to create panic.

Musharraf, our friend?? I don't remember any such statement by ANY political party during the kargil conflict. You must be confusing Musharraf with Nawaz Sharif..

its a know fact that Sharif wasn't aware of the actual kargil invasion plan, it was the brainchild of Musharraf and through the behind-the-scene diplomacy, he helped India to some extent. Remember there was a recorded telephonic conversation given to the media by indian army. The conversation between Musharraf and some senior pakistani army officer (when Musharraf was in China during the conflct) and he was talking about shooting down of an Indian Mig (where Wing commander Ahuja was killed). Who do you think can record the telephonic conversation of a pakistani general sitting in china? Indian intelligence agencies? It wasn't possible without the help of some friend sitting in power in pakistan and no one else could be that 'friend' other than Sharif.

and it wasn't BJP who said that Sharif is our friend, it was then defense minister Mr. George Fernandez.
