Help with Firefox 3 address bar
Does any one knows how to change the Firefox 3 address bar to the way it was in Firefox 2x i.e. shows the full list of typed addresses instead of only a selected few it feels it should display?
Also I hate the fact that if I type something in the address bar and tries to auto fill using the title tags of the pages (which can be totally wrong) and kind of freezes up the browser.
Any way to fix this as well?

Re: Help with Firefox 3 address bar
Yup, and that too when I have a dual core processor and 2GB of RAM of which almost 70% is free! It's quite frustrating at times, however Firefox has a few extensions which I use for work and I also love it's browsing speed, especially while browsing forums. However all this is forcing me to prefer using the IE7 at times!

Re: Help with Firefox 3 address bar
Switch to Opera or Google Chrome. Firefox's v 3 is more time consuming.

Re: Help with Firefox 3 address bar
Don’t know why but never really liked Opera and Google Chrome has a few problems, I would rather use IE7 if I have to stop using Firefox.

Re: Help with Firefox 3 address bar
Have already fixed the CPU issue while typing address with this addon, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6227
Half way there, now I need something to fully restore the functionality of 2.x address bar.

Why not a simpler rollback?

Re: Help with Firefox 3 address bar
Don’t want to use the 2.x system because it is no longer in development, so in case there is a venerability which gets discovered, there won’t be a patch available for it and since I do most of my business (including financial transactions) through internet, it can be a big issue for me.

Re: Help with Firefox 3 address bar
But hey, is the 2.x tree already unsupported? I thought they'd support it for atleast like an year or so more!
