I don't know why this has not been posted here yet, I'm just informing in brief.

Today Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar has become the highest scorer in Test beating Brian Lara's record of 11953 runs. He also become the first player to score 12000+ runs in Test Cricket.

He finally did it, though it would have been much better had he been able to do it in the last match. But its a great achievement nonetheless, hats off to the master blaster.

Indeed an accomplishment that India should be able to hold with pride for the next few years.
Or for many years, seeing that the incidence of Test Cricket is rapidly diminishing.
