Way to go Indian Navy!!
While everyone else is talking about ransoms the Indian Navy is blowing the Somilia Pirates out of the water!
Well done.
This has to stop, how the heck can a ship a quater of a mile long doing 15 knots be highjacked and held for ransom?
The Saudi's should be handling this as it is in their part of the world.

Re: Way to go Indian Navy!!
yeah exactly.
However the pirates are cleverly targetting ships of countries whose navies dont have a significant presence.
I am more than the oil tanker ,I am worried abt the military hardware (30 odd battle tanks) siezed from a ship highjacked earlier and there hasnt been action for almost 1 month
Good that Indian navy is taking a lead in sinking pirates.

I dont think saudi princes give a shit abt their oil tanker.they are busy in extra curicular activities.

Re: Way to go Indian Navy!!
Don't worry, Indian Navy also has plenty of weapons from where the last one came from.

India has been pitching for a UN peace keeping Navy under a unified command to patrol that stretch to ensure that instead of individual nation's Navy taking action alone, a unified front can be put up against the pirates.

Ah, that is there. But if it is finders, keepers then Indian Navy should search for it

Search? Heck, if they keep it long enough, we'll see it on Google maps

Boss, to empty out a supertanker, think ~500m long floating city - you need a refinery. All the somali warlords' SUVs will NOT cut it
