I have recently came back to India and moved to Chennai for a while now. I will soon be getting my 2003 P180 classic here so that I can get back to my riding days again. I would love to know about the activities and members from this region of India.

lol... the problem is i dont have a proper place to stay in chennai and hence no internet. using the gprs which is a pain. regarding where i was, i was in mauritius for a few months and now i am back but in chennai. have to get my bike here still. where do u guys generally meet?

Welcome back to Chennai !! I live in Chennai too, in the Saidapet area near Raj Bhavan. I had a 2001 CBZ which I used for 7 years and recently got an Avenger 200. You can check out my 2 travelogues as I'd been on 2 rides in the last 2 days. It has been fun.

I'd love to get together with some Chennai members from this forum for some rides too. I'm not a great fan of trekking though, and I don't do very high speed riding. I enjoy my cruises more. 80-90 kmph is the max I generally do. But 70-80 kmph is more common.

After having been used to the Avy 200, when I was riding my friend's Pulsar 220 for 10-15 kms yesterday, I felt so awkward since all the wind was coming right on to my face and into my helmet. It was so noisy at speeds like 70kmph that I could hardly hear the P220's engine sound. But I enjoyed the engine sound of my Avy 200 when my friend passed me slowly. I like that sound with the K&N air filter engine ... though I might get back to the stock air filter soon to avoid more dust from getting thru to the engine.
