Delhi\Chandigarh\North India Meet@Karnal

Update: Meet would now be held on 17th July 2010 at Karna Lake near Karnal at 5pm and assembly point would be parking lot of Haveli restaurant.

Long time since we had a Meet @Karnal.
Ok last one was a damp squib,with just me joining in from Chandigarh.

So,since we have a large memberbase from both cities,we should expect decent participation from both cities and we have members from near by cities like Rohtak\Meerut and all,if they can join,it would be better.

Floating this idea,since quite a few people are ready\interested and Karnal serves as a mid point between delhi and chandigarh,and has quite a lot of eatries,for foodies like me

Its going to be too hot for riding during the day,so we can do car pools from both cities.

As of now i am putting forward a tentative date-18th July-Sunday.

Pour in your Ideas\suggestions\Prefrences, guys\gals\unclejee's\Aunti jees(i guess we dont have any:P).

Akshay wudn't Saturday be better !! Dinner meet at Karnal on Saturday night !! Late night back to respective hometowns, Sunday rest !!

@Amit,i am ok for saturday too.
it can be either Saturday or Sunday,whatever,majority prefers.
but i guess dinner would be too late.
I suggest lunch,so that we call reach our respective places,before it gets too late.

If it is Lunch, I would also try to join in from Ludhiana.

Most of the Places are Airconditioned,and this is why i suggested Car pool's

I would be coming by car, anyways. But I thought we'll meet at some open road side khatiya waala dhaba !! AC restaurants, I am not too interested !!

Ceteris Paribus count me in for 17th/18th.

As regards Dhabas AC/Non AC, Khatia/Non Khatia...they are all fine with me.

They will work for me too

Most dhaba's in karnal have Ac halls too.
I am looking forward to meeting BCMT members.
least concerned about the heat
