Ok let’s hear ideas/venues that you guys think should be used for the upcoming BCMTouring meets.

For a change why don't you guys like take your own food and stuff..I know you di dhte Rajasthan trip last year and camped and all. But remember the 'Three generations of Pulsar' trip? I suggest you do somehting like that and sit around in a village somewhere for little chit chat...Just a suggestion!

i would say venue should be as mobile as we are and our bikes..try new places every time.
may it be side lanes of express way early morning or may be cookout at some 1's farmhouse/anyplace if some 1 spares any .

Yeah that was a nice day ride, now we need some good weather and Rajasthan remaining calm.

The biggest hindrance right now is the weather. But I am all for short early morning rides.

Hi Guys

probably too new to suggest, but in my opinion we should meet and do some adventure stuff evry time we meet Like a photo of the rider's babes. Rock climbing at Saket or outh campus. Their are more but dont know if every one will be in for it...like drags, competitions stuff like that.

Drags etc. don't fit in with the profile of a travel club, not to mention, they are illegal and can be dangerous for the participants and other road users.

Yeah I do ! But you will have to ride down 300kms one way for it ! :P

The following are my Delhi meet suggestions:

1) India Gate
2) Rail Museum

And there are so many good places near India Gate, Andhra Bhawan, Rabindra Bhawan, where we can have food also and more. I think the venue should be inside the inner ring road in Delhi.

I would also suggest that the meets can be planned better in the early morning time(5 AM types) these days(summers) and if so, the QIA dhaba or any other place is fine for it.

5 am? You gotta be kidding me, if you are asking me to wake up at 4 am post Saturday nights

About the venue, here's some suggestions:

QIA, CP, Pahar Gunj, India Gate, Rail Museum, Movies, Exhibitions, Pubs / Bars. This is not a club of the yuppies, we are mature people and meeting and going anywhere shouldnt be a problem. Just the exact place needs to be selected with economy in mind, thats it!
