Re: BCMTouring Photography Contest 1 - Monuments - Pick the winner!
Dear Yogesh and Friends, I'm just giving my views here. The Poll is made such a way that a member is allowed to vote for only one option. It is really difficult to pick out a single one from all those wonderful pics. I'm not an expert of photography but I think these pictures can be judged from different viewpoints like, picture clarity, capturing the main subject from proper focal distance, embedding the main object properly with the surroundings, etc. Considering all these choosing only one is very difficult as almost each one has it's own specialty. So, is it possible to allow us voters to pick and vote for more than one pics? After all at the end, it won't matter because the one with the highest vote will be adjudged the winner, but it will be real helpful to us because IMO only then we will be able to show our true likings and respect towards all these marvelous snaps n their takers.

Re: BCMTouring Photography Contest 1 - Monuments - Pick the winner!
Abhi you have certainly made a good point, unfortunately it won't be possible for this poll, however for the next photography contest I am planning to launch a proper voting system where members will be able to rate photographs and comment on individual photograph as well.

Re: BCMTouring Photography Contest 1 - Monuments - Pick the winner!
If not vote, can we have a multiple choice poll? That makes more sense. Else most of the pictures will have <5 votes I feel. It could be a tie or something.
With multiple choice there is a more wider choice and the gap in votes could be more realistic. Just a suggestion

I agree!
It's tough to make ONE choice out of a bluddy bunch of near immortal masterpieces!
And to think we'll have to face this as a regular weekly/monthly feature from now on......

Poll type once chosen, can not be changed in vBulletin. Like I said, from next contest we will have a much better system in place to deal with it.
