It’s time to start BCMTouring’s forth Photography Contest and this time the theme is "Your City, through your lens". In this contest, you must upload photographs which you believe best represent your city/town/state. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a portrait, landscape, monument etc. as long as you feel, that photograph represent the essence of your city, you are free to submit into the competition.
While description isn’t mandatory, it would certainly help convey your message, so do provide a little background on why you feel the photograph best represents your city.
Here are the rules:
- Each member can upload a maximum of three photographs.
- Photos can be edited as much or as little as the photographer wants.
- Photographs must have been captured by you; you can not pick photographs from the internet or somewhere else and post them here!
- Last date for uploading the photographs is 26th of September 2008 (till midnight).
- Winning photograph would be chosen based upon the overall rating it has received.

Voting Guidelines:
- Members will only be able to rate a photograph after the first phase of contest i.e. the submission phase is over i.e. from 26th of September.
- Since you are the judge, please rate photographs judiciously.
- Last date for voting is till 3rd of October 2008 (midnight).
To rate a photograph, click on rate this photograph option on the top right hand corner, right above the image (shown in the screen shot below).
Winning photograph and photographer’s name would be displayed on the home page of BCMTouring and would also be displayed on the header image of BCMTouring, which is displayed site wide (until the next photography contest winner is declared).
Ps. in case someone faces any problem uploading an image, please email them to yogesh @ bcmtouring.com along with the description and username and I’ll upload it for you.
